Célébration du Mois de l’Histoire des Noirs au LFT / Celebration of the Black History Month

Pendant une semaine, les élèves ont préparé, grâce au groupe africain Akwaba, un spectacle rythmé par des danses, des chants et  l’apprentissage d’un instrument de musique africain, le djembe.
During this week, students prepared a show of dances and songs and learned to play an African instrument, the djembe.

Une conférence sur l’Histoire des Noirs au Canada a été présentée aux CM2 et aux 6e par M. Alexie Tcheuyap, professeur de littérature africaine a l’Université de Toronto.
A conference on the History of Blacks in Canada was presented to the Grade 5 and 6 students by Alexie Tcheuyap, Professor of African literature at the University of Toronto.
