Talent Show

Un grand bravo à tous les participants et organisateurs du Talent Show qui s’est déroulé au théâtre Isabel Bader le mercredi 28 mai dernier!
La soirée a été grandement appréciée par l’ensemble du public qui s’est en effet réjoui de découvrir l’étendue des talents de nos élèves (clicquez ICI pour voir le programme).

« It was phenomenal ! »s’est exclamée Lisa, parent d’élève, à la sortie du spectacle. D’autres, autour, renchérissaient en disant « Great show !! » « Fantastic ! »
Bref, vous l’aurez compris, si vous avez manqué le Talent Show de cette année, avec sa variété de numéros, allant du chant choral aux extraits de la comédie musicale Grease, tout en passant par des interprétations remarquables d’instrumentistes, de karaté kids sans oublier les danses Bollywoodiennes, vous avez vraiment manqué quelque chose !!!

Congratulations, Bravo, to all the participants, directors and supporting crew who produced a great Talent show at Isabel Bader last Wednesday, May 28th!

La Troupe de Théâtre / The Theatre Company

“La Machine à Dire” est une troupe de théâtre animée par Christophe Bauzet, professeur de mathématiques au LFT, assisté de Marie-Christine Masson, professeur de Français, qui associe des élèves du lycée à des adultes confirmés dans la pratique théâtrale pour des représentations dans des conditions professionnelles au théâtre du collège Glendon de l’université de York.

La prochaine pièce qui sera créée cette année est une oeuvre de Jean Luc Lagarce, Les règles du savoir-vivre dans la société moderne dans laquelle jouent trois élèves de Première et un élève de Terminale.

“La Machine à Dire” theatre company is directed by Christophe Bauzet, a teacher of mathematics at the LFT, who is assisted in his work by Marie-Christine Masson, a teacher of French literature at the LFT. Their practical theatrical approach combines the talents of a group of LFT students with those of a group of well-experienced adults, and manages to produce their work in professional conditions on the stage of the Theatre Glendon, on Glendon College Campus (York University).

They are currently working on their upcoming production of Les Règles du savoir-vivre dans la société moderne, a play written by Jean-Luc Lagarce. It will be performed by three year-11 students and one year-12 student of the LFT.
